The Leeds United Supporters’ Trust are backing the ‘United Bike Challenge’

The Leeds United Supporters’ Trust is proud to lend its support to the Leeds United Foundation with its upcoming ‘United Bike Challenge’. Using parks and venues across the city over 300 people are expected to join in the fundraiser, with a great incentive of helping the club and the community for those that join in.

PLEASE NOTE: The original date has been postponed, we await a new date, and will update as soon as have it.

Starting at Elland Road, Middleton Park, Golden Acre Park, Fearnville Leisure Centre or Armley Park, safe routes, using cycle lanes and stewards on specially constructed route maps, will take the riders towards the finish line in Millennium Square, where plenty of events are being laid on to greet the riders.

The Leeds United Foundation is the registered charity of Leeds United Football Club. They provide life-changing opportunities for the Leeds community, and this is your chance to make a difference and contribute to Leeds United’s fantastic work in this area. Northern Ireland international Stuart Dallas helped launch the United Bike Challenge and highlighted the great work the Foundation carry out with 20 concurrently-running projects on the go at the moment. The Foundation work in schools helping with literacy and sporting achievement, they have projects helping the disabled, the elderly, army veterans and disadvantaged people of all ages.

But they need more funds to help make a difference to these people.

All you need to do to register your interest in the United Bike Challenge is contact the Foundation at or call 0113 367 6014 to register.

The Trust is proud to support the United Bike Challenge and some of our board members have already agreed to get on their bikes and take part. It is an easy and accessible charity activity that anyone can do, there is no challenge involved that takes months to train for and no specialist equipment is required, the Foundation can even lend you a bike if you need one. It would be great to see lots of Trust members getting behind this and showing your LUFC colours at Millennium Square once the ride is done, so register now and get involved.
