We recently held a competition to encourage junior lufc fans to design a kit, in a bid to keep them busy whilst off school. We received over 40 entries and our Future Trust President and BBC presenter Ben Shires has had the difficult task of choosing a winner and two runners up. Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter!
Here are Ben’s chosen winners, who will each receive a LUFC kit, courtesy of the club.
Winner: Imogen Leigh
An incredibly detailed and considered kit that combines iconic LUFC elements, whilst remaining deeply personal. The inclusion of the Smiley badge alongside the footprints and initials illustrate the best of the club on both a large and small scale. And the hot chocolate is inspired!
Runner- Up – Edward G
A joyous concept kit, blending traditional Leeds United away colours, a glorious blue and white slash and trim, together with the cursive LUFC script. Destined to become a fan favourite.
Runner Up – Lily E
No. 9 – A simple kit with a brilliant message of unity, hope and inclusion. The rainbow trim is a pertinent one for these times.
